Silentmanager – A Starring Role for ESPN

In some great news for Asia’s sports enthusiasts, Silentmanager and ESPN Star Sports have renewed their partnership in a multi-game deal lasting for two years. From its Singapore base, ESPN Star operates over 17 TV networks throughout Asia and is famed for being the largest broadcaster of the English Premier League in the continent. In terms of football, Silentmanager have been managing ESPN’s Fantasy offering since 2008; still going strong, the Premier League based fantasy game is now accompanied in 2010 by a Predictor Challenge game, which allows users to predict the outcomes of each week’s fixtures for the chance to win cash prizes.

Whilst catering for hundreds of thousands of football fans, Silentmanager also provides ESPN’s Formula 1 game, which started for the 2009 season and is now being enjoyed by over 25,000 users. All of these games are seamlessly integrated into ESPN Star’s own website and registration system, a resource that can boast in excess of 6 million visits every month.

Almost a third of this activity is focused on Cricket; as such, Silentmanager also works with ESPN in India on the creation of the ever-popular Super Selector game. Within this rapidly growing and energised environment, Silentmanager must always be on its game in order to provide fresh and accurate game content and new features for Indian cricket fans. The current Super Selector game offers a complete destination for Fantasy cricket action and allows users to play multiple International series games in the build up to the Cricket World Cup in January; a strategy that compliments ESPN Star’s own live coverage of world cricket fixtures.

Despite inevitable rapid changes in the online world in the next couple of years and the growing demands of the local market, ESPN, in Partnership with Silentmanager’s expert team in both the UK and Australia, are perfectly positioned to relish new challenges and provide engaging content for their increasing fan base.
