SILENTMANAGER BACKS A WINNER FOR A SECOND YEAR WITH WILLIAM HILL ‘THE JUMPS’

SilentManager was launched in 2002 and has grown from a back-of-the-bedroom business to a multinational company with offices in the UK and Australia, delivering games in a multitude of languages.

The game attracted a staggering 150,000 users in its inaugural season last year and the 2011/2012 competition is expected to be equally as popular. Exclusive to William Hill, in association with the Daily Mirror and Daily Record (Trinity Mirror), the pay-to-play game invites players to pick 10 horses from a list of eight Stable Stars to be in with the chance of winning the cash prize, worth over £150,000. The entry with the highest scoring aggregate number of points at the end of the competition, which ends on the last day of the Cheltenham Festival in March 2012, wins £100,000 with the runner-up receiving £50,000. In addition to the overall winners, a monthly cash prize of £1,500 is up for grabs, together with a monthly runners-up prize of £500.

What makes The Jumps unique is whilst being an online fantasy game entrants must register via the shops. This two-pronged approach entices the customer in store and to the company’s website, ensuring its branding and messages are highly visible.

Jon Trigg, Managing Director at SilentManager comments, “The success of The Jumps last season far exceeded ours and the clients expectations and we are confident the game will remain equally popular this year. We are delighted with the success of the partnership with William Hill.”
